UNKNOWN SKEPTIC: Spammers probably work for the secret shadow government. I just delete all email that doesn't come from people I know.

MR. BIG BIZ: Hey, look, you can't have it both ways. If the internet is going to be the wild west, then you have to let corporations play the game as well. It just so happens that the internet allows for low-cost as well as cost-efficient marketing. So, let's not put too many restrictions on
this wonderful business model. |
JENNIFER: I'm actually hardly ever on a computer, at least not lately. I try to spend more of my time experiencing nature. I would encourage others to do more of the same. So maybe the positive side of spam is that it will drive more people toward my lifestyle. |
LEFT GUARD LARRY: You wanna throw one guy in prison for seven years just because he smacked someone in the face,
but then you wanna be soft on internet gangstas who trick millions of fools into buying into some scam. That just seems kinda' shady. |
SKULL MADISON: Yes, spammers should be prosecuted, but then so should all internet users. The internet threatens to create a wave of widespread open-mindedness in our society. The internet should only be used by high-ranking specialists who have been carefully screened by the Bush administration. |
WORKER JOE: Punish spammers? What for? Most of my email is from spammers. If it weren't for that, I might not get
any email. |
COLLEGE STUDENT: I already have an email program that automatically deletes spam. I guess most people aren't as up to date as I am when it comes to the internet. |
