UNKNOWN SKEPTIC: No, quite frankly, none of us are prepared, especially if we leave it up to the government. The human race, with all its tanks and bombs, still does not have a plan to keep Mother Nature under control. We should spend more time learning about nature than politics or any of that other pathetic stuff that is directly responsible for us NOT being prepared. |

MR. BIG BIZ: Well, sure, I'm prepared. I own hundreds of properties around the world, both commercial and residential.
So at the drop of a hat I can just get on my private jet with my family and we're off to one of our private resorts. |

BROKER BOB: I hate to say it, but the mood on Wall Street tends to be upbeat when natural disasters such as Katrina
drive up oil prices. Admittedly that's wonderful for oil investors such as myself, but...but...maybe I'm just not seeing the human side of it because
I was raised to believe that money, not nature, is the most powerful thing on Earth. However...(pause)...I guess I need to rethink that. |

SKULL MADISON: Oh, if it came down to Corporate America versus Mother Nature, I think we'd take her. We've conquered just about everything else we've sought after in the past, from disease to outer space...to other countries. Greed and arrogance should still be the focus, for those of us supporting imperialism.

FATHER SULLIVAN: The real question is are we prepared to accept the Lord as our saviour now that he is beginning to
show us the signs that Armageddon is near. I realize that things aren't exactly playing out the way described in Revelations, but one must remember
the Lord moves in mysterious ways. I believe the Lord is actually working on the sequel to the New Testament, to complete the trilogy, as we speak. I will do my best to interpret these developments for my congregation. |

SCIENTIST: I would say civilization, in general, is not prepared for major disasters. We still do not know how to prevent hurricanes, but I suspect we aggravate the problem by continuing to move in a path that accelerates global warming. You might do a Google search on "HAARP" to learn more about that. Too much pollution and radioactivity is being dumped into the Earth's atmosphere to the point where man has actually created a duel with himself. |

MADAM OF THE PLANETS: Actually, the real question is, are we prepared to escape Earth in the event we need to?
Each one of us needs our own spacecraft and a hundred years supply of oxygen and food. I believe we will begin to populate other planets in our lifetime.
